Atlimeyaya

To get there is not a hard task.  From Puebla is approximately 43km away. Arrive to the Puebla-Atlixco freeway. Being alert to take a turn to Cuatla S.XXI highway, just a few kilometers away find the next turn to Metepec. Six Kilometers from Metepec is San Baltazar, Atlimeyaya along the country road that precedes Metepec.

A famous place for its fish farm, San Baltazar Atlimeyaya is known for the breeding and sale of rainbow trout. Xouilin is the name of this gorgeous farm that takes advantage of the thawing water from the Volcano Popocatepetl. Xouilin farm has about 18 rectangular ponds that are supplying water from several springs.

Around this farm place there have been restaurants established, of course, offering trout as the base of their menus. This place is surrounded by a beautiful landscape with gardens, playgrounds, horseback riding, etc.

It is very close to Metepec, Atlixco and an excellent choice for a nice relaxing weekend with the family and friends.
